Bio.
Scott Brown grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and was encouraged by his parents, who were both musicians, to pursue his interest in music at an early age. The trumpet was the first instrument he developed a passion for, and immediately he began to compose pieces of original music with it. Chuck Mangione was an early hero of his. In his late teens his desire to write songs with lyrics led him to the guitar. In 2013 he moved to Florida and he has never left. Around himself, he has gathered, a group of incredibly talented musicians with whom he records and performs. Michael Allman, son of Gregg, is currently recording songs and doing concerts with Scott Brown & Friends(the name of Scott’s band). Scott credits music with saving his life. It gave him goals and dreams to chase and those dreams have led him far away from what once seemed a hopeless existence.
